Anyone here play Dungeons & Dragons? The major antagonist of my campaign is a Ukranian sorceress who seeks to depose the Abrahamic god and restore her gods - Perun, Veles, Svarog, Rod, et al - to supremacy. So, several of her spells draw power directly from those gods. So far, I've designed spells that...

*...draw power from Veles to deliver a blistering barrage of magical missiles (think magic missile on steroids)...
*...fry opponents with a thunderbolt courtesy of Perun...
*...utilize the power of Rod to enhance magic item and epic spell production, as well as epic spellcasting...
*...draw power from Svarog to manifest an animated flaming sword...
*...draw power from Perun to attack with an absurdly strong electrical axe...
*...and finally, the big doozy - summon a swarm of water and earth elementals and fuse them together to manifest Veles's serpent.

I'd like to know what some real scholars of Slavic mythology think of them.

After a successful first meeting, we decided to do another one in which the organization participates more people are going to be better organized and hopefully many more visitors. After this meeting awaits us pause for at least three months, which gives us plenty of time to better prepare for the next seeing. In the future we will organize at least four sets per year, approximately every 3 months (March, June, September and December). We believe that all people are more involved in the organization and will each set to be bigger and Winning
different from the last one. As we said, we make a peaceful and warm atmosphere. Food and drinks will be enough for all but of course not in unlimited quantities, as our goal is not overeating or drinking, but meeting people, socializing and friendly story about a subject that interests us - Slavic mythology. The set begins on Saturday 29.9. in 15 hours, and will last up to 22 hours. It is desirable that all come in time to avoid missing any of the planned events. The meeting will be held at the same place as last time - in Kosutnjak near Brigand fountain. It will be published map to help find a meeting place, and there is a phone for information (0643939208) if you have any questions or have trouble finding the meeting. Possible by car to the village, and nearby there is a parking lot. Place not on the streets but a little distant, isolated. It is desirable that all invite friends who are interested in Slavic mythology, to spread this "event", and also, if you know people who do not have an account on Facebook, and attended the meeting, invite them - all are welcome. Specifically, all well-meaning people are welcome, those who do not fit into a peaceful and friendly environment (in a state of drunkenness, incidents, etc..) We do not need, until now there was no hope that he will ever be. If there is a "problem" will be removed from the meeting, and attendance at these meetings they will be disabled.
